Last week on 12th of August (Friday) I went to KL alone (why is it everytime I'm on a flight I'm always alone?)
But I don't think I'm all alone because while waiting for the flight I sat near to one of my dad's friend so we talked to kill time. I was half-dead tired at that time because I didn't have much time to rest at home. After I'm back from work (at 6pm) I went straight to home and break my fast and then I re-packed my whole stuff, checked if everything is okay or not and then went straight to the airport.
And then I arrived at KLIA at about 12.40 a.m. My sisters and Ridhwan (Yan's boyfriend) picked me up at KLIA and then we went straight to The Castle Restaurant (on Jalan Imbi, near to Berjaya Times Square) to have our supper aaaand since it's a Middle Eastern restaurant, sempat lagi kami ber-shisha kejap haha :P
So many shisha bottles and the service is quite good here :)
After our supper we went to the hotel we're staying. It's a hotel called Flamingo By The Lake. It is located in Ampang. I didn't get to capture panoramic pictures and this is all I got:
Sorry. (I'm in the car at that moment)
It's a beautiful place with a large lake behind it. On our last day staying there I saw a bunch of tourists feeding the fishes in the lake in the morning and it makes me wanna try it too! Maybe next time ;) Eh my timeline is eff'd up already! Back to my 2nd day in KL!
Camwhoring for a while :D
So on the next day (Saturday) we went to some cool places. First stop is Pavillion! Lots of shops innit, but I dunno I kinda lost my interest in materialistic things that day and I kinda focused on foods the whole day. And we were fasting that day, mind you, so it's very excruciating to walk past food stalls without being able to buy those delicious foods, not until 7.30 pm. So it's just my sisters (Yan and Atun) do their shoppings there. While derping on the ground floor I also spotted this:
Performing jazz musics which I love so much. Right timing brahh.
Look at how gorgeous that upright bass is.
After that, we went to The Curve at Petaling Jaya. But before that, we went to Bentley Music for awhile just to satisfy my music instruments fetish and I have to say, I'm quite satisfied. Bentley Music is heaven. You can even try the instruments there (but with extra care otherwise it would scratch or broken etc etc) so I've tried playing this one keyboard. The keyboard keys are a bit hard to press so I just leave it there after playing a bit tunes. I wander around that shop, looking at the drums sections, admired all those gorgeous guitars and then I spotted one upright piano at the edge of this one section, which looked kinda like this:
Without hesitations I went there and tried the piano and bam, I fell in love. I love the keys, I love the design, I love the sound, I love everything about the piano if I have money I will surely buy it. It's so damn expensive man.. RM17,000. What the hell right? I don't even have a quarter of RM17,000 in my bank account :( So I proceed to the counter to look at those fuzz box. I wanna buy one but I saw the same one at Kuching which is way more cheaper so I guess I'll just buy it if I go to Kuching again this November (hopefully). So I just bought lots of guitar picks. I love collecting guitar picks, I have lots of it :)
Ta-daa! All of this costs me RM20 only.
And then we went straight to The Curve. We shop til we drop and my feet hurts like hell. Around 7pm like that we went to Hometown Kopitiam to break our fast. I love it there, the waiters are nice and the foods are super nice too. After breaking the fast we went to Tutti Frutti for a sweet treat and I'm loving every moment of it.
Waiting for sungkai time. (on the top is me and Atun, and this one is Yan and Ridhwan)
Our "I screams". Costs around RM25 for both of this. Not bad :) (but I hate the lychee ice-cream, tastes weird for me!)
After that we headed to the nearest Domino's Pizza. I'm not trying to be a food racist but I have to say I really love Domino's pizzas and it tastes better than the ones in Pizza Hut. Oh and we have cakes too :)
Yes yes, this is ours. And I'm so happy I regret nothing lol.
After that we went to Danau Kota. It's a very crowded place, stuffed with peoples from all over Malaysia (I guess) because they sell cheap bargained things there. We bought a lot of things there. I bought t-shirts (too bad they don't sell South Park shirts anymore so I bought Star Wars t-shirts) and Angry Birds stickers yada yada and we even bought this!
It's soo cute and affordable! And it works too, it's not just a decoration :D And it only costs us around RM45.
After Danau Kota, we went to Al-Andalus Restaurant for supper. Since that night they have that Arsenal football match so that place is kinda packed with people. And you guys wanna know what I love the most about that place? The shisha. Is. Only. Goddamned. RM6. I was like oh my god, what? RM6??! And they did not use small shisha bottles like the ones I just purchased, no. They use the regular bottles, the big ones. And only RM6. What the heck I love that place so much I will sureeeely go there again next time :D
And after that we went straight back to the hotel and crash. We were dead tired but it was a blast! I miss KL already, I miss hanging out with my sisters in KL already. And the next day we went to LCCT (urghh it's SUCH a short trip!) and then it's time to say goodbye to KL :(
Hazy KL.
So that's it. That's the end of my trip. It was a bummer I only stayed there for 2 and a half days. Next time I'll make sure I'm staying at KL for at least 5 days, trust me!
And btw this September I am going there again yay :D
